‘We first met Paula* and her great-nephew Adam* at one of our family games afternoons. As we got to know them, Paula shared that her long-term partner was terminally ill. Over the next few months, we supported Paula and Adam and sadly Paula’s partner passed away. During this time, she was also supported by a Christian friend and ended up coming to more of our family events and Ladies’ Pamper Nights. 

‘About a year later, Paula got to know Dan* from the estate and he also started coming to more of the events being run by the Eden team. In the run up to Christmas, Dan and Paula came to a Christmas Cantata event and told one of the team, “I need to be in church”. That Sunday, Dan, Paula and Adam were all in church and just a few weeks later, Dan responded to the gospel and gave his life to Jesus. On Easter Sunday, he got baptised! Please do keep praying for Paula, Adam and Dan as they journey in faith.’
