So when The Send approached us to ask if we would help support those responding to God’s call to reach and serve lower-income communities, it was a no brainer – it’s what we are all about.

Eden sends and supports teams of urban missionaries in, what the government would class as, deprived neighbourhoods – to live sacrificially, share the gospel and build authentic community.

As young people come along to events that The Send are running across the country, they have the chance to respond again to Jesus’ great commission to reach the least, the last and the lost with God’s love. Our prayer is that we’d see young people rise and respond with a heart for places and people often marginalised by wider society.

We are journeying with those responding at The Send to help them discern the call on their lives and determine their next steps. Some, we hope, may become Eden team members or leaders, now or in the future, where others may be inspired, equipped and encouraged to reach their own communities. We can’t wait to see what God does through this partnership with The Send and we are excited to support those wanting to find out more about Eden.
